Rhayader's shops, inns, livestock markets, spectacular red kite feeding station, Welsh crystal factory, cycle hire, indoor swimming, play barn and adventure park are just 5 miles away, and museums, galleries, Ludlow's renowned cuisine and Hereford Cathedral are an easy drive. Elan Valley nature reserves and fishing on the Wye or Llyn Gwyn (1 mile) are close by; the Cardigan Bay dolphins and beaches are within a day trip. Dining pub 2 miles.

Reviews
Welcomed by the owner with freshly baked bread, eggs and milk waiting in the kitchen. Lovely rural setting about ten minutes from the Elan Valley. Very comfortable cottage. Have never ventured so far with the children before from Kent. But a wonderful experience we would definitely want to do it again.

We had a lovely 3 day break at Seven Stars Cottage. There was a lovely welcome on arrival of freshly baked bread, fresh eggs and a jug of milk from the hosts. The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything that was needed. Our little boy loved the bunk beds and our large double bed was very comfortable. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and just the right size! We went to Elan Valley reservoirs and Llandrindod Wells which were only short drives away. We will definitely be visiting again in the future for a relaxing break - thank you!
